Thank you I agree with that also. After looking at my own living room pics I can now see clearly the overwhelming color "Brown". You know how sometimes when you're in it you can't see it but once you take a step back and look again you can see everything clearly. That's where I am right now: ). Yes anything more I'll add will be glass and the dark bronze floor lamp stick you see in the corner is going to be swapped out for a silver arc floor lamp with a linen shade. With these small adjustments and added accents should help some. Thank you again!

Yes, you are right, sometimes you just can't see what others see...I think taking photos of your space always helps, it has helped me too realise some things. Don't forget to post pictures of your "after"!

Yes I sure will post after pics. The linen shade from what I've seen doesn't come in colors per say but more in the neutrals. So the arc floor lamp shade would be in a natural linen color with a silver frame. I have a very dark brown/black floor lamp there now.

Also, my art/wall decoration on my main wall will feature the new color. Can't wait: ). As of now I'm leaning toward a light turquoise.
