Don't know what to do with countertop. Need some help please.

get new one? paint the cabinets? get the counter top paint kit that is on the market. what are you wanting to do?

I'd like to keep the cabinets the same for now. I would like to get the counter to match the cabinets and flooring. Should I go dark or light?

Your floor appears to have some blue in it, is that correct?
If so that will limit what color you can use on the countertop.
I when I saw your photo, I initially thought of black, and changing the knobs to black.

Can you post other pictures of the kitchen? Is the backsplash white with tan...I can't really see much of it? New cabinet hardware- just seems too shiny and placement on the drawers and doors seems kind of odd to me.

Thank you for your thoughts. I agree with a darker counter, possibly something like am uba tuba? I'd like to put in subway tile back splash as well.
