Since you're going for a bright, glossy look, I'd go with bright white.

Benjamin Moore Cotton Balls. Now, you have 3 selections. Go to the paint store, get all 3 as samples and go home and test them on a piece of white foam core. An 8 x 8 square should do. Then look at the colors for a couple of days in the kitchen and see how the colors feel morning, afternoon and evening with the natural daylight and artificial light.

Benjamin Moore Dove white is popular, as is BM Cloud White. We ended up going with BM Winter White (I looked at all 3)

Sherwin Williams Bright White -- will not yellow over time. Had our cabinets painted eight years ago with this and they still look awesome!
