My first one in November 2008 now have 4 2 on troybilts tiller, one water pump, one spare in attic shop because 72.00 end epa rating. Most need main jet open some. If tilt engine low oil sensor shut down I add 4 oz. to oil capacity works that save engine low oil, better taking wire off. I use engine for anything under 10 hp 3/4 shaft. you need 5 bolt on troybilt mounting metric in block one metric for end crankshaft. friction on throttle always to tight easy to adjust. Couple days ago I on ebay a lot parts there. I change on on off switch, crank rope broke repaired to short pull. Plenty power I've read 9 hp and I agree. I replace any size engine with 6 or 7 hp engine replaced 3 1/2 on trotbilt junior works great. They used 3 name for engine I think Mador what called now.

Yah, Im really liking my 212 CC Predator. I'm using it on an Ariens 24 " snow blower and it has made it easy to keep my drive way clear. As well as paths to the bulkhead and the utilities. I recently bought a new belt after I blew the original. I can use baling wire for shear pins if I have to. But a spare belt is good to have. The engine starts easily, I'm don't care if it lopes at unloaded throttle. It settles down under load and powers its way along. I wanted to hate it but it runs so well, that I can't. Mine runs smoother quieter and uses less gas than the Tecumseh 5 hp flathead it replacer Throws snow better. too. It could blow up tomorrow, and I would just go to HF for another one.

Those are definitely great engines...I was VERY skeptical of them, but bought one for an old Merry Tiller, wound up putting it on a Troy Bilt, and have zero complaints.
