Need help with fabric for chairs

I have two wingback chairs I am moving into my living room. I need help picking out a fabric/color/patter vs solid for the chairs. Note: we are about to get a brown leather cocktail ottoman. Sofa is a light grey. Rug is a blue/grey. I am moving the two chairs there currently to a different room. The new chairs are wing backs.

Great look! So, you want something in a blue-ish gray with cream print, possibly with some brown to tie it all together. Something in a smaller pattern or a solid will allow the area rug to stand on its own bringing pattern into the space. Then all you will need is a pop of color. Even a calm color scheme needs a little something to shake it up. Depending on your tolerance for color, a tangerine, lime green. turquoise or deep blue in the form of a pillow or in a print would add just that last touch of color.

Since your couch is grey and your accent pieces will all be brown, I suggest pulling the lighter color from your rug and throw pillows onto the chairs. Either something solid with texture or a very subtle tone on tone pattern.

You are going to get a ton of suggestions, but I think the best idea is to bring home fabric swatches so you can hold up to your rug and couch. With a leather ottoman being introduced, I would head towards a more casual, masculine look by going with a cobalt blue linen feel and trimmed with nailheads. To get the graphics you are looking for, just add a rolled pillow on each chair.
