Well you would want it composted first and it is probably neutral, so you
would need to still use some acid fertilizer. Especially if in ground. Mulch
with pine bark. You can find some good stuff labeled as soil conditioner.

Add sulfur too if in ground for sure!

Thanks, it is plenty composted since some of it has been out there 2 or 3 years. I also have a pile of wood chips, I think mostly pine dropped of by the County tree trimmers. I'll add some sulfur too.

Once aded watch the plants closely and such. I don't see where it would be a problem, but just to be safe use a small amount and watch plants. Maybe increase if all looks well. Remember too sulfur takes at least 6 months to work. So it may be slow to acidify. i usually add some every spring and every fall. Good luck, once you get it right they will grow fast.
