Looks like blank board to me - such an opportunity to create a picture !! Think what you like - the color you like - the form of artwork -murals - painting - indoor plants - but let me first appreciate the floor . I'm floored by it ! I feel like putting yellow in this room . Art work with yellow dominating in it or wall paper of the color - to go on the long huge canvas like wall behind sofa . Ottomans - bench with colorful fabric cover ( yellow prints ) . I love ceramic vases too . See what appeals to you .

Great room to work with, start with an area rug you love and then pull wall colors and accent colors from the rug. Sherwin Williams has an app where you load your photo's and try different paint colors on your walls. Have fun! I see tourquise and tan with your room.

Can you switch the sofa and loveseat? Add a stuffed chair and ottoman in a patterned fabric?

Great design from corolins with the accent wall, mix of pattern scale, asymmetry of pillows, and for providing additional task lighting. In my opinion, well done.

Here are a couple of fabric design solutions from ARKfabric.com. Our sample size is twice the size of an Ipad.

    Hi carolins!!

I appreciate ur efforts put!in. I am sorry i should have mentioned before that the sofas would be replaced with white sofas .

Oh well... :-) What I suggested would still work with white sofas, but if you can post photos of your furniture and maybe even post a simple floorplan with sizes of walls, windows, openings and existing furniture, we can give you more to the point suggestions.

Is that an electric fireplace under the TV in your new home?

No the furnitures in the new home is not ours. All those furnitures would be replaced by the ones seen with the white sofa above.

So that is not a fireplace and whatever it is, it goes... okay.

I'm wondering if you could put the TV on the long wall with the two sofas facing each other, one with its back towards the window and the other with its back towards the stairs. If your sofas are both the same size.

Thank you so much for the design carolins! The sofas are of the same size. Is there any input on the interiors for this arrangement ? what should be on the wall and space on the area behind the sofa facing stairs.

My my ! Love the white sofa . That means you are free to play with color- go for lavender or hues of purple if you like - play with the color in the manner Caroline suggested . Wow !

Oops Caroline where does all This go .. Posted separately so that you won't get confused with what goes on which room. But now I am :/

Caroline wanted to change living room into a cozy traditional room . Any idea for that .. Appreciate your helpppp thanku so very much !

Your white leather sofas are modern, hence my more modern suggestions. It really help us if you tell us what you're looking for in the first place :-) These suggestions I posted are options, I'm not suggesting to get two bookcases and two rugs. They are suggestions to get your inspiration flowing.

If you want to have a more traditional room then we can find other items you could consider. What do you think of that Loloi rug, Fairfield collection, beige multi that I posted above? That looks like a lovely rug that would work in a more traditional setting as well as in a more modern room. Do you like it? Or not?

And since this is room is very much connected to your dining area, it makes sense to see them as one room and not as two. So I'd keep them together in one post in this case. It's important to have a kind of flow from the living area into the dining area and it's difficult to get that when you have two separate posts up and running.

Hey Caroline this post shows the family room which I totally loved the modern setting you all told and have the modern white sofa put in here .

Now the traditional setting k wanted for the living room and dining/ it's an open concept one.

So it's totally two different rooms I was looking at .

Hey Divya ! Of course yellow would pep it up in my opinion . By now some progress must have taken place. Where are you now, living room or dining:-) ? Any thing decided for wall ?
