Faucet measurements

I have a terrible kitchen faucet that I'm looking to replace, and am thinking of going ahead and buying the one that I want for when we eventually do our kitchen remodel. The faucet I want has 7 7/8" between centers, and the current sink (not replacing) has 8" between centers. Will the faucet install properly with the 1/8" difference?

If you have a new faucet that doesn't match 8" on center, it is probably European and metric. It won't fit the sink you aren't replacing in your remodel. Check into a US manufacturer with a similar style- many can be ordered online if not in the retailer.
