The kitchen table is lower than the counter height. By industry standards, a typical table is 30" H and counter height is 36" H. The kitchen cabinets in this custom home are custom painted wood cabinets. We hope this answers your question.

I'm not aware of your budget or how large you kitchen is, but the custom cabinet maker may suggest MDF as a more cost effective option. A good compromise is to suggest a MDF box with a solid wood door. The kitchen table in this project may be a great option for a smaller kitchen with shelves for extra storage

I love this table! We are planning a kitchen renovation soon and I would like to incorporate a creative seating option as I do not have room for an island.
