Did you source the slate tile already cut into 4x4? Love the look!

I'm not having any luck finding 4x4 slate. Did you have larger tiles cut down into 4x4?

    Slate typically comes in larger format tiles, so yes, we cut 12 x 12 down to 4 x 4.

    The floor is Brazilian balck (montuak black) slate which is very dense
    and does not flake. Brazilian Slate in different colors and sizes can
    be purchased from MarbleWarehouse.com.
