My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    These are cedar shingles which have a dark opaque stain. I have also done a project where we used a Hardie shingle product that is panelized; it looks great and holds up very well. You can check it out at http://www.jameshardie.com/homeowner/products_siding_hardieshingleSiding.py.

    Hi - I really like the opaque stain on the shake, not too dark and not too light. I have a 4 story cedar shake house and am working on moving away from the plain cedar color. Would you share what the brand/color is please? Thx very much.
