It looks like they are hung from pegs on the wall (almost like a coat rack) with ribbon.

I'm sorry I did not see this question before now.

I used a piece of white moulding cut to fit and screwed in drawer pulls that are white with blue flowers. The moulding is just screwed in to the wall. I hung the pictures on the wall with just regular nails for stability and then tied the ribbon to the pulls.
