Does anyone have any opinions or information about the minimum temperature for installing shingles on new construction? Our framers have been sidelined by the endless snow here and also claim the temperature is too low for the adhesive to adhere.

They also say the zip tape for the greenboard seams doesn't adhere below a certain temperature. As a result, we have had NO progress for almost a month. :(

Are they full of it? I see other houses under construction using Zip Tape and installing shingles....
