Anything in a gray color, like blue gray, would look good.

Counter top and mosaic is very nice but I think cabinet color is not working together. If your cabinet was chocolate brown or very light maple color then I can see silver paint and this mosaic.
If You have an option why don't you use this in your bathroom like you mentioned and maybe more amber / yellow/ silver/ mix italian glass mosaics as backsplash.

Thanks, Nelly. I've been thinking of giving up trying to tie the cabinet and tiles- and just put the latter in the bathroom.

However, can I pull it off, by having a gray-green grout for the mosaic
tiles? The tiles has blue-green coloration to it...
