Pretty color scheme...I think a piece of art, a round end table (round would look nice since you have a rectangular coffee table) in between the 2 sofas with a lamp on it would look nice and will fill the space.

I think it would be nice to make the wall with windows a focal point...Consider wallpaper from Donghia, Graham and Brown, or Phillip Jefferies.

Have you consider creating a batten wall effect?

I have a few blog posts that may help you out..

Happy designing.

Very interesting ideas. Here's another pic that might help with what I have going on already.

I'd rearrange the furniture to see if I could work with the smaller scale of that wall. Not sure what the whole floor plan and the adjacent area look like so this might not work at all. But what I'd try is to put the sofa where the two chairs are, facing the window as a focal point in the room. Place one or two side chairs, angled towards the couch in the corner between the wall and the window and add a small side table (round will work best with the angle). Then if there is room, I'd move the love seat to the right side, forming an L with the couch. Small end table between them ...or not, if you don't have room.

If that will fit, I think that the short wall would look more in balance with the smaller furniture against it. I'd place one fairly large, vertical and distinctive piece of art on that wall, with some bright color in it, to pick up an accent color from something else in the room.

But I also like your idea of a console table, with art over it ... again, something big and vertical to make it a focal point in the room.

I will consider the art piece idea. Thank you!

Leaner mirrors I love, but won't do, because of the whole 'kids and accidents' situation.
