Curbless showers are more expensive to do in a remodel when creating a shower from a tub. Although that was our preference! Too much labor to remove the concrete and lower the base. We have had to adjust to a short curb and that's fine. When the tile is laid it's done with a slight 1/4" slope to the back so the water drains away from the entrance. We have a curbless entry in our pool cabana apt and it works beautifully with a shower curtain.

Rainforest is fabulous. It looks like tree branches and it is actually roots that were in the ground when it was formed. You can even find bathroom accessories (toothbrush holder, wastebasket, trays, etc) made out of rainforest granite. They are made in Italy and India. The ones from Italy seem more expensive but they are beautiful. They are pricey though!

Thank you cjw0888, but I'm talking about a shower period not a remodeling job just a shower. Is this ONLY for European homes or can they do a rimless shower in American homes?

You can do this in the US; anywhere, really, as long as you have the space. You can get a CD from Schluter which is the system I intend to use with my curbless, doorless shower with a floor drain in MA. I posted online and got a couple of likes with responders stating I won't regret it at all.
