I'm having trouble finding a round desk like this one.

Hello--this desk was purchased from a Trade Only resource, Lewis Mittman.

There are several very similar desks through non-trade resources.

Would you be able to recommend any of those resources? I have been searching online without any success. Thank you so much for your reply/help.

I have a furniture showroom in the San Francisco Bay Area and can order this desk. You may contact me directly at fjrdesigns@ureach.com. The size varies by manufacturer, make sure you measure, so you know how big or small you can go.

My husband has this desk in our library.

    It is bespoke.

    Design Concepts/Interiors, LLC,,

We have tackled only 2 rooms in our new home.
[the trst of the house is furnished with odds and ends.]

The library is quite a challenge, and I think it is because the concept of an actual library
for a serious antiquarian book and document collector is rare in our area..

Acquiring the needed elements is difficult.

Also, wood paneling is not appreciated by many designers.

    Your design is lovely.

Thank you so much for your kind words. This was an extraordinary room in a 10,000 sq. foot home. I love the wood panelling and the rich, elegant quality of the space. A desk like this deserves an elegant backdrop. If you do not want to do panelling, perhaps you can have a faux bois or a deep dark color on the walls.

    Design Concepts/Interiors, LLC,

    We most certainly want paneling!

We have yet to find a designer in our area [Florida] that does not feel wood paneling is out dated.

Our home is only 6,000 sq ft..

We have these windows and would like this effect with a lighter, perhaps burled wood

And we need several stacks for books.

So far we have only the desk and this rug. - a Persian Sultanabad c. 1880 that we could put in another space.

Aja--if you are interested, we do offer Daykover services and I can work with you virtually via Skype or Facetime. Feel free to email or call for details. I will also be in South Florida in February if that is where you are.
