Fireplace mantle

Can you tell me what type of wood you used for the mantle and the size/height?

    Hi, this mantle is a reclaimed piece from an approximately 500 year old elm tree. It was then sanded and hand applied 8+ coats of shellac to protect the wood and give it the finished look. Sorry, I do not have exact measurements, it was cut to fit this fireplace.
