Sink choice

I'm replacing my double bowl sink with a single bowl and have narrowed the choice of specific sink down to the Blanco silgranit Cascade and the Blanco silgranit Super Single, but I'm not sure which one to get.

I'm also not 100% sure I even have a choice, because the Blanco website says the Super Single needs a 36" cabinet and mine is 34", but I think that they're saying 36" because they think the alternative is 33" and that's not wide enough. So, does anyone know if there's any reason I couldn't put the Super Single in a 34" wide cabinet? If it will fit, then:

Does anyone have experience with either of these sinks to say which works better? The Super Single is a little bigger - 30" wide compared to about 26.5" for the Cascade and is also deeper - 9" compared to 7.5". Our current sink is about 7.5" deep and both I and my DH are short and actually prefer that to a deeper sink. But the Super Single's extra width seems like a good thing.

How does the little, slightly raised bowl of the Cascade work? Is it a plus or a minus?

Here's the drawing of the Super Single:
