I would say so - for a start they shouldn't really be stored there... you need a cool (and dark) environment for wines.

The thing is, that you should askisi yourself. Yeah, there is the need to store it in a cold dark space, and the problem that I see is that fridges in general they create a lot of heat, which can cause problems. The real question is, personally, do you drink wine on a daily basis, do you want quick access? Do you want to show your bottles of pristine wine? If so, moving them to another area is the solution. Now aesthetically, putting wine on top of a fridge is extremely outdated, not also that if you take the history of wine storage, they store wines in a kitchen, always from the wine-cellar. Now building a wine cellar is expensive and kinda useless for the average drinker. What I would suggest is to hid it. In a cold, dark space. But in a surprising location, such as you were going to take the wine out, you would impress your guests. Good luck finding location to store wine!
