What is the name of the stone on the island.

I understand where you got it from but I am looking for a name of the stone because I do not live in the DC area.

White kitchen counters are really 'in' right now but, the problem is finding a white natural stone that won't be a maintenance nightmare. This is a quartzite called 'white macaubas' that has all of the beauty of marble combined with the durability of granite.

What is the subway tile and the counter paired with it? Love the contrast of that with the macaubas. Great job! Are there any other pictures that show different angles of the kitchen? Thank you!
