Window brand recommendations requested from builders and architects. Will be building in Midwest with hot summers/cold winters. Have had Pella Architect Series in the past and was disappointed with them - casement latches difficult to close and windows swelled and exterior door hardware did not last long in harsh winters. Jeld-Wen is made in our state, but I haven't had anyone recommend their windows. Any opinons about Andersen? Marvin? We'll be doing fixed glass, french doors, and double-hungs. We're open to all suggestions.
