My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The structured is framed with Douglas Fir timbers and stained with a clear coat.

    It is certainly a beautiful outdoor living area and the warmth of the wood only adds to its appeal

    With a clear coat does it gray over time or since it's somewhat sheltered from the elements will it remain warm?

    This structure was installed several years ago and has not grayed. We like using a clear coat as to not hide the beauty of the wood, and graying has not been a problem.
