I think it would cost a lot more than that. I have a friend with a similar kitchen that just had something similar quoted and it was well over $100,000.

The $ amount I listed is for the expansion only. Includes framing, insulation, basic electric and plumbing, basic windows, slider. It does not include the remodel. On the remodel - better layout, new floors, cabinets, counters, electric, plumbing, faucet, sink. No new appliances. I'm trying to aim for 30,000 plus the 19,200 for the expansion.

$30K for the kitchen part of the remodel is optimistic, i just did one. my advice is, i see you do have a dining room. keep your current square footage and spend all your money on a good renovation of the kitchen and have either counter seating OR table seating. since you already have a table, i'd say counter seating.

and use your dining room instead of the kitchen table.
