If your looking for micro-minis I had both Cinderella and Baby Betsy McCall for many years. They were both in hanging pots and never had any problems wintering until last winter. I lost a lot of my potted roses last winter. I would say if you're going to plant them in the ground they should winter well for you.

I know to some spraying is absolutely taboo but I think under my growing conditions it is going to be a necessity. We are having one of the wettest springs in 10 years and BS is attacking. The fungicide I have says to spray every 14 days. However, I've seen others say every 7-10 days. Considering we are getting rain several days a week every week do you recommend I adhere to the 14 days or should I move spraying to shorter intervals and take advantage of breaks in the rain to spray?

Beth I used Banner Max And it was every two weeks. I rotated with Daconil which was 7 to 10 days, With the 7 to 10 days in super pressure I go every 7 days. Try to rotate modes of action so your black spot dosn't build immunity to your spray. The rotation may have been Mancozeb.
