Don't know much about bamboo (except not to use the running kind :) but I just saw it in a mag used as a screen... I'd like to screen out an objectionable view and I'm wondering if I could use bamboo [am also checking into vine possibilities] -- any height is fine (the taller the better), space available is about 8' between an oak and a lilac tree, so kinda shady -- and the 'depth' should be no more than 4 - 5' (in other words, the spread should be sideways more than front to back). Is there such a bamboo or am I just dreaming? TIA
