Living room/ diningroom combo (small space)- Need ideal for a table!

Hi! We recently moved into our new condo and Are trying to find a dining table which would work for the small space. Any suggestions? Would a round table work? (The furniture on the pictures are from the open house staging).

Congratulations. It looks beautiful! One option might be to place the tv on the wall where those pictures are (above the staged tiny dining table) now. Place a sectional (with chaise on the side against the window) across from that wall, and place a small round/oval dining table on the side of the sectional (where the red chair is now). Not sure if it fits..but maybe? I really do like how they staged it though!

Hi, congrats on your new place, it looks beautiful!

As for a table, how many people would you need seating for on an everyday basis? What other furniture do you already have or plan for the space? Will there be a TV like shown in the staged room and is that the only wall you plan on placing your TV?

I think once we have a better sense of your general furniture arrangement, etc. then we can come up with better ideas for a suitable table.

PS is this the only dining area that is available in the home? Reason I ask us because just wondering if there's space in or by the kitchen that's shown in one of the photos.

I'm wondering the same as Avery. Seems inconvenient to have the eating area that far away from the kitchen- including a flight of stairs from kitchen to table. Can you make something work in the kitchen area?

Really pretty condo!! You may want to add an attractive hand rail for the staircase for safety reasons.

Can the TV go on the wall where the dining table is in the staged room? Set your sofa to face the TV. Drop leaf table on the wall where the TV is in the staged room. Would that work?

I would prefer the t v where the dining table is now. Place the sectional with right facing chaise under the side windows. The wall where the t v is now would become the dining area.

Look for a modern rectangular one leaf drop table. Leaf up, pulled away from the wall, add benches and or chairs, could seat 8 in a pinch.

Love the rug and sectional you're considering. And yes based on the info in your last post, I think JudyG's suggestion for a table and where to place it would work well in your space.

If you prefer something with softer lines, then yes an expandable round table may work too. Lots of it will depend on the actual dimensions of your space, keeping walkway areas etc. in mind.

Can you provide some room dimensions? Especially of the area where you plan to put your table?

Is your taste contemporary? The Knoll Saarinen table is terrific and pairs well with many styles and tastes.
