suitable kitchen faucet/sink color?

I just love a polished nickel kitchen faucet. Could I put it with a biscuit cast iron sink? Or is nickel more suited to white or gray/black sinks? Granite will be White Springs, lots of cream, gray, black specks, touches of gold and paprika. I suppose stainless sink and faucet would be a neutral fallback. Thoughts please? Thank you!
