I need to finish the threshold for my double front doors. I primed it when I installed it.

should I strip it and stain a dark brown black?

should I paint it a dark black brown? or

should I replace with a dark brown granite or marble?

I am not sure if the last option is available, but I like that stone will look cleaner than the painted or stained wood.

the exterior porch is covered in Vermont Blue stone and my interior flooring is a dark black brown wood floor called Panna by Duchateau. It Ash that is sealed with a black oil.

The threshold is part of a pre-hung unit that holds two doors.
