Hi Debbie -

Teak wood has been used in the marine industry and outdoor furniture with great success! This table has been finished, so if you are to place it outside the finish will need to be maintained - Just like a new fence, it looks great when installed but if not kept up it will loose its luster.

A little bit of history about Teak Me Home is we purchase old homes that are set to demolished, reclaim the interior structure made from old growth Teak wood that is approximately 100+ years old giving new life to the old growth Teak wood!

From there we design and handcraft all of our furniture in limited numbers never mass-producing anything. Our hands are literally on every aspect of the handcrafting process. All of our pieces are rich in history.

Regards,

Alex

Thank you! The table is beautiful and I have just the spot for it, but it a bit more than I was hoping to spend, especially when I add the shipping on top.

Hi Debbie -

Our white glove blanket wrap delivery carrier will install this piece so you do not need to worry about lifting a thing. They take extreme care delivering our pieces (unlike FedEx or UPS), and treat them like china to ensure they arrive in showroom condition. This is why our shipping charges are $200 for the first item.

Regards,

Alex
