I'm all for the $25 solution until the money comes back. Painted my white vinyl kitchen floor for $40 eight years ago and it's still good enough. New vinyl would have been $300 not counting labor. So yes, that bathroom looks good enough, and perhaps by the time you have the money to redo it, your taste will have changed anyway.

It is a great idea for a quick up date with out breaking the bank.

Also, we have a yellow tub & I used "Homax Tub & Sink Refinishing Kit - it worked great - The key is to prep VERY well

Looks great! I did my bath 3 years ago and it's held up well. Be sure not to use abrasive cleaners and to keep soap scum down, use bath gels rather than bar soap.

Wow, I was kind of amused by the green and white checkerboard and might have tried to keep it and do something playful with the bathroom, but I think your inexpensive transformation is much prettier!
