A microwave is built in above a wall oven and warming drawer - to the left of the range (about where this photo is taken)

We went with a relatively inexpensive Sharp microwave w/a stainless trim kit/surround. Works great. HOWEVER, this is something I didn't consider and next time I'll do differently: (because I'm a little OCD) -- the digital clock LED is yellow on the microwave and bright blue on the Dacor oven right below it.

You're not OCD, I did the same thing with digital lights. LOL Not that big of a deal--and who would have thought to check digit colors?

where can I find the pendant lights?

You can easily turn off the clock on the microwave. I did. Check the manual.

This is such a lovely kitchen with perfect lighting from the window. If I could remodel my kitchen I would do something just like this. I just wish I could decorate as well as the designer here. http://capitalconstructionmemphis.com/kitchens/

Who wants a microwave..whole idea of cooking is fresh food..not reheating or making food by radiating it in a microwave..I mean would you eat food in a top restaurant if they used a microwave?..a good stove plus a steamer makes much more better sense

I'm with you. I am redoing mine and do not want a microwave

likewise...no microwave for my new kitchen either. I'm glad to see I'm not alone in the anti-microwave movement! LOL

Is your grey countertop Balsaltini? If so after selling, does it wear well? Thank you.
