A pop of white around the windows, pared with dark, almost black, or brown shutters and garage door would add nice appeal. The front door of the house could be enhanced with a pop of something bright, such as a brick orange. On a house such as yours with the front facing garage door it would look great to have the garage door contrast the body of the house color. The yew shrub on the left side could be trimmed and pretty colorful planted window boxes could be added under the windows on both sides. The window boxes could be planted with bright geraniums (to match the front door) and hanging vines. To the right of the front door, there is room to add a conical boxwood in a colorful pot, with trailing color at the base.

The house shouldn't have blinds smaller than the size of the windows they flank. Shutters are solid wood; blinds are louvered. Yours are both too narrow and too tall. When originally conceived, vertical and diagonal wood siding was intended to be stained or left natural to weather grey; often with earth tone painted trim. The garage is too big for the house to be emphasized with a contrasting colour (unless the "garage w/ attch'd house" look doesn't bother you). If you don't want to go with natural wood, mid to dark browns, greens, and greys would be in keeping with the style of siding.
