XL Twin beds vs Full size

As a decorator do you think the length of a xl twin beds would be better in a quest room used mostly by adults than full size? The xl has the length of a queen or king and the full has the length of a regular twin, which is used mostly in children's rooms. What do most people seem to prefer?
