Atrium replacement windows?

Contractor wants to use u value .30 Atrium replacement windows on a older 1950s house.I haven't heard anything about them, are they a good value window?

They have several different lines.

Very generally speaking, is it a low cost option? Yes. IMO, I would not say good value though, as that would imply that it would have higher level of performance or quality than its cost would indicate, and I would not say that is accurate.

Between myself and my Niece we are going on 8 windows with seal failures within 1 year with the Premium ATRIUM brand . The company will not extend the warranty past 10 years knowing that there are widespread issues. Our older house had cheap builders grade windows and not a single failure in 16 years. These are not cheap windows as some of them are over 400.00 a piece. Search Atrium window issues and you will understand.
