I am now faeriegardenmum, as being the gardener sharing plants and helping others work the magic in a garden, it is a fitting name. My daughter commented and did not like to think I was garden hag. Lorinda

Pam, yes I am hoping to be there in the next week, maybe even this weekend. Thank you so much for the offer of plants, a true gardener's heart! We were in Northern IL with the kids for a four day weekend for Easter. So I hope I can revive and still get to the plant sales this weekend and next. I just need to confirm where I am staying. I am a daylily addict, so yes to those and rudbeckia, but the fatsia japonica is not hardy for zone 6. I potted up 7 gal pots of crocosmia, but I only have few bulbs and roots that did not freeze in the move, so if you still have lots, I will see how they do. I did bring all my daylilies, and just a handful of each of my sheffield mum and a few other things. I am in a new, private apartment out in the country, with a bare yard, I mean builders dirt and mud, so I have a blank slate. I will be here for a while and the owners are giving me some license with plantings and design. So I want to create something that will work for them to be easy care shrubs and perennials, and for me while I am here. I will take some of each of my daylilies, and have some favorite easy care perennials that I can easily take a good start for my own future yard. It was so hard to leave everything I created in my huge landscape there in GA. I wish I had been able to bring more starts of even my many ground covers, herbs or thicket forming shrubs like itea. I took my daylilies and crocosmia up last Summer, but I was not sure where I was going, and with the house for sale, it was not practical. You know how that feels as a gardener. That's why I was hoping to find a swap or at least a group here. I have never gardened in zone 6, but I feel I could try to push the envelope either way, but can't invest a lot in someone else's property, especially making mistakes.
