Hi---I suggest painting the side walls 1-2 shades darker than your sectional---the wall behind the sectional an additional 2 shades darker and the TV wall a deep saturated color. Pull the sofa far enough from the corner so you could fit an arch floor lamp. Center and lower the art with the sofa. Solid rug with some texture--no need for more pattern as the tile is busy enough. Add a few pillows and/or throw if you want to bring in some pattern. Pics/link for inspiration-colors and such. Good Luck!

Cynthia thank you so much for your advise I really like those colors and I strongly agree about the artwork it doesn't go at all I will definitely take it off until I find something else!

I love your curtains! I do feel like the room is a bit cold, so I would suggest a large area rug. Also, add some pillows to add more warmth to the cold sectional. The artwork doesn't match the drapes, so I would look for something with blue/grey tones.

Interesting choice, olldbobbi, but I think it would fight with the colour of the tile. It's similar, yet "off". I think a stronger colour would ground the space, sharpen the look, and distract from the floor tiles more.

Cynthia, you're right, I was looking more at the drapes. And that's why you are the pro !!! Thanks :))

Love your sofa but center it on the wall. Cynthia both those rugs are beautiful for the space. I would consider losing the blinds on the window and replace with a roller blind that is semi sheer or just sheer white panels to the floor.

I would go with white in your space and maybe an accent wall in black or navy, depending on what color your drapes have, probably more a charcoal grey instead of black if you want an accent. This would highlight art and modern furniture without fighting with the flooring. I like a plainer white rug or with grey tones/stria in it. An arc floor lamp would look great also! Agree wall color is too pink and blinds need to be removed. One large piece of art work behind sofa. Have you tried angling the sofa slightly? Love the idea of a rug. Maybe try adding two chairs with backs facing French doors. Small table in between. I do not mean setting them up against the doors, but pulled in to create a nice seating area with the sofa. Good luck. It is a nice room.

Like the suggestions with GREY. Painting the walls great tones with a nice large dark grey rug would tie everything together with an Über modern feel.

Very nice! The art is great and adds enough contrast to the sofa---otherwise, yes you could have painted the wall darker. THrilled you chose a solid rug---no more pattern needed in this space. Happy for You... CHeerS!

Hi Naudibis, thank you for sharing your after! The room looks nice!

I do wonder if a slimmer or slightly smaller art piece would work better over your sofa. Art usually needs some empty space around it to enjoy it. Our prints can be ordered in any size to fit your space perfectly so, I thought, I would suggest a few... Raisa
