How do I make the most of my small balcony space, if I'm not allowed to drill into the walls? My apartment has strict rules. I can't hang anything on the balcony fencing but I can't drill in the walls or ceiling of my balcony to hang anything. Its not a very big balcony and its east facing with mostly morning and daytime sunlight for growing, so I have one corner that gets a lot of light, and one corner that gets none or little. How do I make the best of that space? Shelves? I'm fairly high up and I'm worried not only about high winds knocking things down, but my two cats jumping up on shelves or whatnot and maybe falling off the balcony. A little help, what do you think I should do? Right now, its just a place to store all the pots and bins I'll be using for the garden, and broken things.

The corner that does not. They are pretty much the same. The width of my balcony is about 10 feet long, maybe less, its tiny.

If this was the only problem with my apartment, I'd be flying. X) But I'm sure my other rooms will need a lot of advice soon.
