Hard to tell from the pic, but height looks ok relative to the furniture. What might be off is the distance from the table to the furniture, although that's also hard to tell. Is it a sofa and two chairs? I would want the table to be within easy reach of the seating. Also, wondering about the "cubbies" (not sure what to call them). How do you intend to use them? They seem to be eating up valuable surface area and at my house would probably become major clutter catchers.

Looks like your have pics of this room in your idea book. I like it! Try turning the table the other way and pulling the sofa off the wall and closer to the table. Chairs could probably move in a bit closer too.

Yes theres pics in my idea book with some old decor I've since bought a new TV stand and now the coffee table. ok I'll definitely try that and yes it's one sofa and the 2 chairs the cubbys are being used for the remotes, although I'm waiting for a defective part of the table to get shipped and it's becoming a hassle. I might just exchange it altogether. the cubbys can be flipped and turned into a flat surface, but I thought using the cubby side made it unique.

It looks like the right height to me. Is it the chairs or the sofa you want the coffee table to marry? Slide the coffee table to about 18" away (and lengthwise) from the Marriage piece(s).
