Sorry. Posted last question without finishing... First request for advise.

We purchased a home and have completely gutted it. Working on the inside plans now but need suggestions for updating the front porch area. We will be removing all brick and changing some windows base on the inside plans. Right now we are keeping the right front door (of the double doors) possibly moving more to the right. There will be a spare bedroom in the front right side of the home so the windows will also change. Please help with suggestions to brighten up this 70's ranch!!
