Decided at the last minute, after discussions with the builder, to consider finishing a large portion of the basement. Excuse the pic...I've basically cut and paste from other plans to show this. Home is on a walkout lot with about 150' ft of yard/trees behind it.

Nominal height of the ceiling is 9' 0 1/2" with triple plate. My goal was to finish most of the back past where the beam it. It's the line that is separating the Unfinished areas from the Finished areas. Builder was presenting some reasonable prices to do this - maybe all the money I spent upstairs was helping :)

Goal was:

Guest Bedroom - estimating 15' x 12' with WIC. Standard 9x5 Bathroom would be for guest use or 'normal' use when in the basement.

Office - 15x14, windows on 2 walls. Door to unfinished area is for storage.

Rec Room - 34 x 18 + Lower Hearth 14 x 14 12068 Slider... would love to put a large 12080 there if we could - just for the large light.

Unfinished area by W.H. and Furnace, Unfinished areas behind bar. Planing ahead for the unfinished area in lower right to be a media room, so that's why the second door into that area - one on both side of the bar.

Any cool ideas of ways to re-arrange this space ?
