If you're not enjoying the red (I assume bright, traditional red), You could try different shades of red (deep/burgundy vs light/mauve). Some other colors might be a burnt orange or yellow or darker charcoal grey, or cream/tan. All would fit with the current color scheme. You could also take the real and go tonal, scattering different shades of blues, teals and greens throughout the grey home.
