Anyone else have the itch to start early this year. Do you all think I could get away with putting the plants out early this year? It looks like we are projected to stay in the 60's for at least the next 15 days. I am thinking about getting a head start on my tomatoes.

I am itching to plant my tomatoes out now also. I grew them from seed and would be heart broken if the cold got them. I did grow 3 of each variety I want to plant and will only plant one of each variety, so there is extra available if frost did get them. Maybe this weekend. Except it looks rainy and cloudy for the next 8 days.

Yeah, I have 3 seedlings that grew way faster than the others and could probably go out soon, so I started hardening them off this weekend. I noticed that there may be frost on Saturday morning, so think I may wait until next Monday as long as the 10 day forecast looks good.

Hope you did better then me.. I set early and the frost the week before Easter got them all...got the bud of my fruit too... Followed by 2 straight weeks of rain... Lots of nice fungus to deal with where the damaged buds were....
