Last changes to kitchen layout

Hi all, thanks in advance for your thoughts as I finalize this layout! You are a very helpful group : )

It's an ikea L shaped kitchen, and on the right (where you can't see) starting closest to the viewer, is the coat closet, then broom closet, then fridge, then pantry. On the edge of the counter, on top of the white section of cabinet in this picture and directly abutting the pantry, will be an appliance garage with a roll top (not pictured; it will be non-ikea).

So besides that, the rest of the kitchen is on this big long counter. I want to put a hanging basket between the appliance garage and the upper cabs. We will put a floating shelf beneath the upper cabs, so that's why they are quite high.

We are a family of 4, so I want to have space to cook with a kid beside me.

1. The trash will be under the sink; I currently have a 12" pull out for cookie sheets and cutting boards next to the sink, but given that I can't do a 12" pull out with a top drawer at ikea, it doesn't seem like the best use of space. I can only get the top drawer with a 15" pull out, and that seems like too much to devote to cutting boards and cookie sheets. Also, I imagine this should go next to the oven, so the utensil drawers (to the right of this 12" pull out) are closer to the DW. How can I store cutting boards/cookies sheets? My contractor can hack a 9" cabinet, perhaps, and I can give the extra inches to somewhere else? What I really want is a 9" or 12" cab with a pull out for cookie sheets and a top drawer.

2. I can squeeze out another 3 to 6'' from the far left open shelves, I think, and I"m not sure where to put it. I'll either make the far left drawers bigger (they are the "office" drawers) or put them between the stove and sink.

3. On the upper cabinets, the far left glass cab will be for our china and pretty things; somewhere we want to have a wine rack, but we're not sure where.

this is the time to add any super neat storage tricks, so I'm all ears!

oh, and how easy is it to add toe kick drawers?
