I don't think it looks too bad. It doesn't say the soil type anywhere though.

The pH at 6.06 is okay, optimal range is 6.0 to 7.0, but at 3.7 percent organic matter is a bit lower than I like to see it, 6 to 8 percent. Other things look to bet right although for those of us that do not work with metrics often converting kg/ha can be difficult.

I would try to find some compost to apply before planting but would plant this season.

I don't see any problem either. And sometimes the first crop after sod-break is the best one. Where I live soil pests can build up after a few years of vegetable raising and it's best to let some areas go fallow for a couple seasons. So, yes, go for it. The sooner the better I figure.

Interesting that your soil report says "Mixed Garden". I hope that means mixed *vegetable* garden. My soil reports always specifically state "vegetables". A vegetable garden has different requirements than shrubs and posies.

Wow, 248 PPM iron. I thought I had alot at 46. Your sulfur looks good, that's an important one.

It looks like the only recommendations they give is for an NPK fertilizer.

I'm wondering why they only gave you ratings for Ph, K, Mg and Ca.

Maybe you didn't want to pay the extra fees for other information? (my lab charges extra for recommendations and a histogram chart)

Your Boron looks quite low. Possibly even nonexistent. If this were my soil report, I would add no more than 1 PPM of Boron *****VERY***** carefully. Like take one measuring cup of 20 Mule Team Borax and dissolve it in a tank sprayer and spray the mist evenly over 1000 square feet. Too little is way better than too much in this case. If you're not comfortable with this then don't bother, it's easy to overdo it and ruin your soil. I used this procedure to bring my Boron from .6 PPM to 1.1 PPM. I could go higher but 1.1 PPM is quite adequate. However, Boron does tend to leach in our soils so I'll continue to keep an eye on it.
