Not sure which model you are looking at but unless its the model that goes on the floor, the tapmaster control is attached to the toe toekick, THere are then are tapmaster valves, that sit on top of the house plumbing valves, between the shutoff valves and the hoses that run to the faucet itself. Depending on the orientation of the plumbing under the sink will depend if the tapmaster valves will reduce depth under the cabinet. My valves point upwards.

If you are having trouble I can take a pic.

I have the same fixtures and other similar things/setup including the small kitchen. :) Tapmaster I have is the 1775 that goes thru toe kicks and under the cab. It comes up thru cab floor to connect to water lines. The trash & recycle bins are also under the sink - they are on a rollout with sink cab 'door' panel attached. I did get an off center sink since I had to also squeeze in a garbage disposal. The toe kick baseboards are 'removable' for easy servicing if necessary. Everything works fine with no dependencies. Thank you both! I'm looking at the 1775 as well, and I'm trying to cram as much as possible under the sink. I like the idea of the removable toe kick baseboard for servicing- great idea!
