My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    That wall treatment (the lower portion) is called "board and batten" and the upper portion looks like tongue and groove horizontal planking.

    I also like the board and batten treatment, and used it in my living/dining room (see below)!

    Those are a wood and PVC standard "Simulated Divided Lite" Window with 9/9 muntins. The sashes are wood and have been painted to accent.

    Perrin, Did you use 1 x3's or 1x4's for your vertical batten boards? What did you use for baseboard?
