Landscaping. Your house is grand. But the shrubs are slammed up against the architecture. Give it some breathing space. Break up that huge expanse of lawn with off-center beds of flowers/rocks. A small flowering tree or two in other spots. Paint your front door a rich color. If you can afford to: replace the spindles and columns across your porch with cleaner lines, more substance to the columns -- the current ones are dated. It will be lovely!
