As the snow melted this spring snow mold appeared on lawns and some "experts" counseled gently raking to get rid of it. I counseled doing nothing since the snow mold would disappear as the soil dried. In 2 days, as the soil dried, the snow mold disappeared with no exertion on my part. Temperatures in the low 30's also were not conducive to going outside and raking.
