What a view you have. Lovely room. Go contemporary on chandelier. Brush nickel. 36" and hang 36" from top of table. Add panels to windows in a silver mesh for interest.

I would not go a rug your floors are beautiful. But if you must try a silver shag for texture. Very big so chairs are on it when you are sitting. May have to go custom.

Put those lanterns on top,of table. Not working on floor. Nothing on window sills.

Nancy what is a "silver shag"? Can you give me an example ?

My husband cooks and wants his view over the mountains when he prepair food, so if I want feat I have to find something that does not disturb his view too much ;)

oh this is the space for an ORB style fixture for SURE! wont block the view, slightly orgainic. and fairly timeless. my other suggestion would be from elk lighting which is a mix of wood and chrome.

Omg I love the Madera one! Thank you so much, now I just need a rug!!

i think you need the 10 light, but look at the two sizes.

for the rug i would pull from the grays in the mountain range.

Love the room! We have some lighting and rugs that would look great with it. Here's the Bluffwood Chandelier:

Or you might like the Admiral Ceiling Lamp:

For rugs, try the Geen Area Rug:

Or the Chesapeake:

Hope this helps!

The Madera light is beautiful. I might opt for a rectangular shape, since your table is very long. Also, you may want to order a nice textured herringbone carpet, looks like you'll need more feet than a large rug. Gorgeous room, by the way!

Go with an all wool antique Oriental or Persian area rug. Timeless, classic, beautiful. I would go with a larger rectangular chandelier with a woven shade & crystals hanging down. Ones shown are too small. I wish I could post photos but I can't. Sorry. View is absolutely gorgeous.

I wouldn't put a rug down - your floors are gorgeous and it's a shame to cover them up with a rug. Plus, rugs under dining tables never made sense to me because it's like a catch-all for food scraps and dirt that is difficult to clean because then you have to vaccuum in and around the table legs.

I'd focus on finding an amazing bronze or copper lighting over the table - something that runs lengthwise and is delicate but not precious (eg wrought but not diamonds).

Your view is stunning btw :)

Some more pictures so you can see the whole kitchen. White, black, grey and white ash and silver are my colors. The rug has to be custom like 8' * 14' since its tight between island and dinning table. Thanks so much for all your ideas!!

oh please go with the elk light it fits in soooooo well!!!!!!

the linear would hang to high, if not to block the view.....?....

Something like this

Erika, those arrow lights from your kitchen are incredible. Where did you get them?

Thanks Apt2B! I love them!! You can get any color you want on the feathers. They are custom made for me in silver and black.
